Cookie Policy
Short version: this site sets no cookies at all.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. Cookies are used for things like keeping you signed in, remembering preferences, and tracking visits for analytics or advertising.
Cookies on this site
Nimbus Base sets no cookies of its own, and no third party sets cookies through it. Specifically, the site uses:
- no analytics or visitor statistics tools;
- no advertising or remarketing tags;
- no tracking pixels or conversion tags;
- no social media buttons or embedded videos;
- no session or sign-in identifiers, because there is nothing to sign in to.
Because nothing is set, there is no cookie banner or consent prompt. There is nothing to consent to, and a banner would suggest otherwise.
What happens instead
When your browser requests a page, the server that hosts the site records an ordinary log entry: your IP address, your browser's user agent, the page requested and the time. This happens without cookies and is described in full, including how long it is kept, in the privacy policy.
The site loads no fonts, scripts or images from other websites, so your browser makes no requests to third parties while you read it. If you follow an affiliate link to another website, that website may set its own cookies under its own policy once you arrive there.
Other browser storage and fingerprinting
The site does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB or any other browser storage. It does not attempt browser fingerprinting, meaning it does not combine details of your device or browser to recognise you. The only script on the site opens and closes menus and the contents list, and does not store anything.
Checking this for yourself
You do not have to take this page's word for it. Every major desktop browser includes developer tools, usually opened with F12 or from the browser's menu, with a Storage or Application section that lists cookies and stored data for the site you are viewing. On Nimbus Base that list is empty. The same tools include a Network section showing every request a page makes; on this site, all of them go to nimbusbase.online itself, apart from links you choose to follow.
If you ever find a cookie or a third-party request on this site, please tell us at info@nimbusbase.online, because it would mean something has changed without this policy being updated.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Even though this site sets none, you can control cookies for every site you visit. All major browsers let you view and delete stored cookies, block cookies from third parties, or block all cookies, from their privacy or security settings. Your browser's help pages explain where these options are. Blocking all cookies will not affect how this site works.
If this changes
If cookies or similar technology are ever introduced on this site, this page will be updated first, and a working consent mechanism will be in place before any cookie that needs consent is set. Questions can be sent to info@nimbusbase.online.
