About Nimbus Base

Who runs this site, how pages are written, and the limits of what it covers.

Who publishes it

Nimbus Base is published by BHK MULTI SERVICES, a company registered in France. Pages are prepared by the BHK MULTI SERVICES editorial team. The site is written for readers in Australia, which is why it uses Australian spelling and points to Australian government services.

What the site is for

The site is a troubleshooting reference for PC games, organised by symptom. A reader arrives with a problem they can see on screen and leaves with a sequence of checks, starting with the quickest. It also covers the non-technical problems that often look technical at first: account takeovers, unexpected charges and scam offers.

It is not the website of any game, publisher or store, and it offers no downloads, installers, accounts or support for individual games.

Editorial method

How topics are chosen. The troubleshooting pages cover symptoms that affect PC games in general. They name operating system tools and settings where that is needed to follow a step, but they do not rank or recommend games, launchers or hardware.

How the order of fixes is decided. Within each page, checks are ordered by how quick and how reversible they are, not by how often we think each cause occurs. A restart comes before a reinstall; a reinstall comes before anything that changes system security settings.

What we do not claim. We do not run hardware tests, publish benchmark figures or score products. Where a page relies on a rule or official position, it links to the government body that publishes it rather than restating it from memory.

Why one game is named. Coverage of individual products is limited to products the publisher has a commercial relationship with. At present that is one title, Raid: Shadow Legends, through an affiliate arrangement explained on the affiliate disclosure page. Because of that relationship, its page uses only the publisher's own description for product details, says so, and lists what that description leaves out.

Sources we rely on

Where a topic involves Australian rights, rules or official advice, we link to the body responsible:

We are not connected with any of these bodies, and linking to them does not mean they have reviewed or approve of this site.

Corrections and review

Each page shows the date it was last reviewed in the footer. Operating systems and launchers change their menus regularly, so a step may drift out of date. If you find one that no longer matches what you see, or anything else that is wrong, email info@nimbusbase.online with the page address and what you found. Corrections are made on the page itself and the review date is updated.

What the site does not do

  • It does not collect any information through forms, and has none.
  • It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. The cookie policy explains this.
  • It does not show advertisements from ad networks. The only paid element is the affiliate link described above.
  • It does not give professional, legal or financial advice. For your rights in a specific dispute, contact the relevant body above.
